John Skildum - On September 18, 2004, my wife Roxanne Skildum was trolling
with a shade rap rapella lure for walleyes in a favorite spot on Lake Vermilion.
She had 10 pound test line on a medium action rod. It took more than 30 minutes
for her to get the Muskie to the boat. The Muskie measured 52 inches and was
landed with a walleye net and a tail grab. I held the fish for the picture.
It was successfully released. We have a cabin on Fraser Bay.
It was a very memorable day of walleye fishing.
